Amabel Youngbin Jeon

Social, Cognitive, and Cultural Psychologist
PhD Candidate, University of Southern California
Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. candidate working with Dr. Daphna Oyserman at the Mind and Society Center at the University of Southern California. Prior to USC, I worked in the Memory, Cognition, and Self Lab at Wesleyan University under the guidance of Dr. Kyungmi Kim.

My research bridges psychology and technology, developing insights into how people process and retain information in digital environments. By examining the complex ways culture and social identity shape reasoning and judgment, I offer nuanced perspectives on communication, media framing, and online interactions.

In my free time, I enjoy boxing, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and skating alongside Venice beach.
